Casitas Village Homeowners Association
Homeowners - Rules

In order to make any community as safe and pleasant as possible for everyone, it is necessary to have rules. This is especially true in condominiums, where there is a mutual agreement to show pride of ownership, even if a unit is rented.

The Homeowners Association has a zero tolerance policy toward illegal activity or disruptive behavior. And of course, all residents are expected to be considerate of each other.

If a violation of the Casitas Village Rules and Regulations and/or CC&Rs is noted at your unit, a letter will be sent to the unit owner, giving a time period within which to correct the violation.  Failure to comply could result in a $25 a day fine until the violation is corrected.

  • Generally, it is not OK to make any changes to your unit which are visible from the outside. If, for example, you decide to put up purple curtains in your window, this affects the appearance of the whole building. If several people do things like this, it affects the appearance of the complex as a whole. This affects the value of the property.
  • Please don't leave your personal property outside. It makes the Village look cluttered, and may also pose a safety hazard.
  • In your enclosed carport, you may have your car, your bicycle, and your barbecue. Anything else should be put away.

There are other rules which you need to know. If you need a copy, click the appropriate link below to download them.

IMPORTANT: Parking Permits are required in Casitas Village.

Any vehicle parked in the common areas, including the enclosed parking and apron outside the enclosed carport, must have a Casitas Village parking permit. Violators will be cited by our security patrol, and must pay a fine. On the third citation, the vehicle will be towed away at the owner's expense. To obtain a permit, please bring your vehicle registration to the office, at the swimming pool. The office at Casitas Village is open Monday – Friday, except holidays, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

Please download the rules on this page for more information about cars and parking.
